Quality Assurance & Quality Control

QA/QC in Mushrif begins with the employment of staff, who possess the necessary calibre, experience and motivation to succeed. Quality assurance and quality control objectives for each project are achieved through the documented planning, review, implementation and control of all activities affecting quality in a Project Management Manual.

Mushrif assures quality construction through thorough and aggressive pre-planning of all elements of the work with strong belief in fully understanding projects from the start.

At the pre-construction stage, the bid team shares its knowledge with the project management team, who utilize the Project Management Manual to execute the project. This manual provides guidelines on how to manage the works effectively and in accordance with the Company IMS.

It also identifies those primary elements of the work and organizes the workload distribution by assigning responsibilities to the relevant project staff for their execution. This organized pre-planning approach ensures success throughout the project.

Finally the project is brought to a conclusion with a formal review of the works in a 'close-down' meeting attended by the relevant project and Head Office staff. The purpose of this is to ensure that responsibilities for all outstanding activities are assigned, project records are properly archived and the experience gained and lessons learned properly recorded.

Construction Site Supervision

An experienced qualified team of skilled professionals is assigned to Mushrif projects to ensure that they progress and are completed in accordance with specifications. The team is responsible to ensure a smooth running, efficient, and safe work environment for the benefit of all participants and for the ultimate benefit of the client.

As active participants in the pre and post bid planning meetings the team is informed of the requirements prior to mobilization to the project site, thereby ensuring that construction can proceed without delay.

Our project management approach begins with a strong commitment to communication and coordination with the client, and to maintaining strong technical and operational controls as the work progresses.

Integrated Management System

At Mushrif, the quality with which business is conducted is extremely important. All areas of operation are therefore controlled by the Company Integrated Management Systems (lMS), which was formally accredited to ISO 9001 - Quality Management Systems in 2002. The standard operating procedures within the IMS have been designed, written and implemented to maintain the highest standards in finished products or services, along with the strong business relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors and vendors.
