Environmental, Water/Wastewater


Environmental protection through responsible water disposal and recycling hazardous waste materials, wasteland reclamation and the building of controlled disposal facilities are all activities reflecting Mushrif`s commitment to the environment.


Recently Mushrif has significantly increased its activities in this Division. Notable projects include the $35m Umm Al-Hayman wastewater treatment plant, and the $12m expansion, operation and maintenance of the Ardiyah wastewater treatment plant. Mushrif has also recently completed the $19.5m Tubli sewerage treatment plant expansion in Bahrain , and have signed a $10m project for the general services for environment protection from waste water pollutants with the Ministry of Public Works in Kuwait .

Over 450 engineers, technicians and operators are currently active in this division and our goals for further expansion will solidify our position as one of the leaders in the region in environmental contracting and engineering. Our capabilities include the full range of operation & maintenance, and the repair and renovation of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and civil facilities.

Our fully staffed and equipped laboratories ensure compliance with the highest effluent quality parameters for wastewater treatment, and our design and biological process capability ensures that we meet our clients goals of providing clean treated effluent.
